The Forum’s Professional Development Registries (PDRs) provide a central database to record the workforce qualifications of early childhood educators such as their education, employment history, compensation, benefits, credentials/certifications earned, and college courses/training activities completed. These submitted documents, which are thoroughly vetted and verified, can be used to make policy-informed decisions to improve the quality of early learning programs.
Designed to meet the needs of our diverse early learning population, the Forum operates two PDRs in Florida. They include:
- Our statewide, Children’s Forum Professional Development Registry. This Registry is available for no licensing fees to Early Learning Coalitions, counties, Children’s Services Councils, and the state of Florida.
- The Palm Beach County Training Registry that is funded by the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County.
Both Registries adhere to the National Workforce Registry Alliance (NWRA) best practices and policies. In addition, our comprehensive workforce data collection provides an informed view of the early learning field.
