Location: Tallahassee – Full time remote work permitted until the Children’s Forum secures a permanent office building, at which a hybrid work schedule will be implemented.
Job Function:
This position is responsible for the compilation, analysis, and oversight of Help Me Grow® Florida data and for supporting the advancement of the Help Me Grow® Florida system.
Specific Job Duties:
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the System for Tracking and Referrals (STAR).
- Conduct the data compilation and analysis of the Help Me Grow Common Indicators and use information to streamline processes and create best practices and procedures.
- Coordinate professional development and training for Help Me Grow Florida affiliates.
- Maintain and update database manuals and training materials.
- Assist in development of reports, including compilation of data and conducting analysis.
- Inventory existing state and proprietary data systems currently used by early childhood stakeholders and assess opportunities and challenges for data linkages.
- Oversee the HMGF Brookes ASQ Online Enterprise.
- Participate in data evaluation activities as required.
- Provide technical assistance to affiliates.
Requirements & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience (e.g., early childhood education, social services, etc.) with some experience in data management and analysis.
- Graduate certificate may substitute for two years of experience
- Associate degree or Industry Certification and 10 years of relevant experience, or
- 15 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to problem solve, plan, organize, and coordinate multiple work assignments with an attention to detail, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a clear, concise, and effective manner.
- Computer literacy in software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, word-processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Ability to analyze data and present proposed course of action.
- Knowledge of services, support, and systems that serve children and families, including Florida’s system for early childhood services.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Knowledge of database development, queries, and data analysis for reporting and quality improvement purposes.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to develop processes to improve workflow.
- Technology skills to develop presentations, create reports, support database users and update and maintain the website.
- A strong sense of and respect for confidentiality involving clients, stakeholders, and fellow employees.

- Full-time remote work until the Children’s Forum transitions to a new office building within 3-4 months. Either a remote or hybrid work schedule will be available after this time.
