This position is responsible for increasing awareness of Help Me Grow^® Florida (HMGF) through materials, marketing, and social media and providing technical assistance relating to outreach to the HMGF affiliates.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Oversees HMGF social media accounts, which includes developing compelling content, improving brand awareness, and engaging with followers and affiliates.
• Assists with the procurement, content, design, translation, ordering, and inventory of public awareness materials.
• Helps with public awareness campaigns.
• Participates in Children’s Forum outreach activities in collaboration with Forum Outreach and Communication Team.
• Assists with the enhancement of the HMGF website.
• Provides individualized technical assistance to HMGF affiliates related to Family and Community and Child Health Care Provider outreach.
• Develops and provides training related to public awareness and outreach for HMGF affiliates.
• Assists in planning and the coordination of the HMGF Annual Meeting and other related events.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• Experience working with marketing and social media campaigns.
• Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and complete multiple work assignments in a timely manner, with attention to details.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, and effective manner.
• Demonstrated proficiency utilizing and interacting on various social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
• Basic technology skills to develop presentations, create reports, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of services, support, and systems that serve children and families, particularly Florida’s system for early childhood services.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Education and Experience:

Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, Industry Certification in related field, or demonstrated experience developing marketing and social media campaigns.
