Job Function:
The primary responsibility of this position is to work in collaboration with the Children’s Forum outreach team to support the EC Policy WORKS Advocacy Fellowship and Children’s Week initiatives.

Specific Job Duties:

  • Plan and coordinate events and activities.
  • Respond to phone calls and email inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage data and document storage.
  • Create travel documents and purchase orders.
  • Submit website updates to IT team.
  • Attend workshops and meeting as assigned that are related to this position.
  • Perform other duties as required by the Children’s Forum Outreach Team.

  • Emerging project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and complete multiple work assignments in a timely manner, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, and effective manner.
  • Computer literacy in software applications such as word-processing, spreadsheets, and data bases.
  • Basic technology skills to develop presentations, create reports, and support database users.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Basic knowledge of procurement and purchasing process.
  • Must be able to work with varying socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
