About the Position

Create a supportive team environment that encourages collegial relationships and ongoing communication within and across programs to promote problem solving, productivity, accountability, and cohesiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop appropriate strategies, procedures, and materials for the programs to improve communication, streamline processes, and reduce duplication.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Early Learning Coalitions, community colleges, and other key stakeholders.
  • Assess critical systems such as the portal and FileMaker databases regularly to maintain quality and function,
  • Collect data, observe workflows, and monitor system activity to identify vulnerabilities or areas of system improvement.
  • Provide data-informed feedback on how to expand or refine current operations to meet and sustain company needs.
  • Collaborate with staff and managers to develop effective training, presentations, tutorials, and webinars for internal and external use.
  • Oversee Workforce Initiatives Portal Requests and act as the technology liaison with the IT department and portal support.
  • Attend meetings, trainings, workshops, and conferences that are related to this position.
  • Model professional behavior that consistently supports the Children’s Forum mission, vision, and policies. 
  • Provide technical assistance and support to Workforce staff.

Requirements

Specialized degree based on contract obligations and/or relevant experience listed below. The ability to use discretion and judgment to educate early childhood professionals in career and educational goals. Provide support and counseling in transcript translation and evaluation, course selection, and professional development pathways. 

  • Master’s degree; or
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience; or 
  • Associate degree with 15 years of relevant experience; or 
  • 18 years of relevant experience 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. 
  • Must be able to work with varying socioeconomic backgrounds. 
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in data analysis. 
  • Must be able to travel as needed. 
  • Must be organized and able to multitask.  
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
